If you haven't heard about dns i'll elaborate, as you may well know, being a self funded small business, ie a functional band, requires new and innovative ways to keep the engine fueled. So the new trend which seems to have started in Canada but is spreading is, DNS, which is basically, you help a touring band and in return get a great night. Ok, you put the band up at your place for a night mid week while they wait to do their gig on the weekend, the band in turn does a gig at your house midweek, you invite your friend, each friend donates maybe ten bucks- and everybody has dinner together, then the band does a set for the guests, the band wins because we get free accomodation,a free feed and maybe sell a cd or two and if there are 10-15 guests we make a bit of coin from the donation, you win because you get a unique night which is a great way to entertain everyone, and if you support independant music your'e doing the best thing you could do for a band.The band may get new fans, we're not sitting around doing nothing, and we'd probably be practicing that night anyway so now we got an audience, any how if any of you guys are keen let us know when wer'e coming to your area, it will be a blast
